中文版很久以前在 科幻世界上就有，目前网上到处流传的就是这个版本

厄休拉•K•勒古因（1929——） 美国最杰出的科幻作家之一。
    生于加利福尼亚州的柏克利，父亲是著名的人类学家阿尔弗雷德•克劳巴，母亲则是一位作家。她曾在著名女子大学拉德克利夫大学和哥伦比亚大学专攻法国和意大利文艺复兴时期文学，并赴巴黎留学。勒古因最初是在1962年12月号的《幻想》杂志上崭露头角的。之后很快便在一流书刊中连续发表了《劳卡诺恩的世界》《边境的行星》和《幻觉城市》三部长篇。1969年，她发表了《黑暗的左手》，此书独占第二年的雨果奖和星云奖。在接下来的70年代前半期。她有一系列作品获得大奖。这一系列惊人成绩，使她成为科幻小说界的“女皇”。 代表作还有《天的辘轳》《世界之词乃森林》《被剥夺的》《蔷薇日记》等等。
